Road Construction Signage Belongs in the Road
Quick post!
Please stop putting the big orange road construction signs on the sidewalk. Please put them in a parking lane, or even let them encroach on a ~driving lane~. Concession: putting them in a bike lane would be better than on the sidewalk, although it would still be best if they were in a parking or driving lane.
The header photo is from West 15th Street in Loring Park, which is insanely narrow and unpleasant to use to begin with, and does not need a three (? idk) foot wide metal sign hemming it in further. Can a person in a wheelchair or power scooter use that sidewalk? I don't think so.
This happens pretty regularly all over the city whenever one of these signs needs to go up.
Here are some similar things I found quickly from around here and elsewhere:

Kinda makes the sidewalk hard to use, & more annoying because slight repositioning wouldn't have blocked sidewalk. pic.twitter.com/nk2rp0NhK7

That's bad. We should clearly not do that.
